Bambuddha Group Announces Official Impact Partnership with Success Works

Bambuddha Group has today announced an official impact partnership with Success Works, formalising a shared commitment to responsible leadership, dignity-led systems change, and creating meaningful employment pathways for women impacted by the criminal legal system.

Success Works is a Sydney-based social enterprise dedicated to transforming lives through employment opportunities. The organisation challenges the notion that a criminal record defines a woman’s future, instead focusing on creating fair chances that allow women to look forward not back.

Through its programs and partnerships with employers, Success Works supports women to overcome barriers to employment, access meaningful work, and build confidence, independence and long-term stability.

At the heart of Success Works’ model is lived-experience. All programs are built by, designed by and delivered by people with lived experience of the justice system, ensuring relevance, dignity and trust remain central to every initiative. By working closely with employers, community organisations and participants, Success Works helps shift systems that exclude, replacing them with models that prioritise opportunity, fairness and real economic participation.

The partnership brings together Success Works’ deep community expertise with Bambuddha Group’s strengths in Responsible Leadership, Impact Program Development, Storytelling and capability-building.

Together, the organisations will collaborate to strengthen programs, amplify lived-experience voices, support leadership development, and build ethical, scalable impact models that deliver long-term outcomes for individuals, families and communities.

“This partnership matters because our values are deeply aligned,” said Anna Sheppard, CEO of Bambuddha Group.

“Success Works doesn’t design programs for people they design them with people. Their work is grounded in dignity, lived experience and fairness, and it challenges systems that ask people to be defined by their past. At Bambuddha, we exist to support leadership and impact that is human, accountable and future-focused. We are incredibly proud to stand alongside Success Works as partners.”

Through the partnership, Bambuddha Group will support Success Works across leadership development, impact storytelling, program design and organisational capability, while ensuring lived experience remains central to decision-making and delivery.

“Partnering with Bambuddha strengthens our ability to build systems that genuinely work for the women we serve,” said Yvette Evans-Streeter, CEO of Success Works.

“Bambuddha brings strategic depth, creativity and a strong values-led approach to leadership and social impact. Together, we are focused on creating fair chances, meaningful volunteering opportunities and pathways that support women not just to survive, but to thrive.”

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to hope, courage, dignity, accountability and fairness, and a belief that employment is one of the most powerful drivers of long-term social change. By combining leadership, lived experience and ethical impact design, Bambuddha Group and Success Works aim to demonstrate what is possible when purpose and practice are genuinely aligned.
