The global pandemic has transformed the way we view and approach work, creating novel challenges and untapped opportunities.
Workplace support, either formal or informal, is critical now more than ever in helping employees confidently manage an increasingly complex and unpredictable work life.
This webinar will explore the changing nature of work-life management and how workplaces can adapt to help employees adjust, sustain productivity and achieve a meaningful work-life.
Implications to HR practice will be explored based on an overview of current research insights on workplace support.
Dr Laramie Tolentino, Senior Lecturer, Macquarie Business School
Dr Tolentino studies careers and work-life management. Her work looks at personal resources and workplace support that promote successful career adaptation across life stages and multicultural settings.
Her research has been published in leading journals (Human Resource Management, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Career Assessment, and Journal of Research in Personality), and recognized as best paper by national and international professional associations (US Academy of Management and Australian Psychological Society).
Lara is passionate about enabling people to thrive and build meaningful careers. She has developed and taught professional development courses in Australia and the Philippines.
