Hedayat Osyan (Nick) is dedicated to uplifting, supporting, and training fellow refugees. Since arriving from Afghanistan in 2010, Hedayat studied politics and international relations (Hon. Arts and Design); was a youth advisor to CMRC, MYAN NSW and more; and founded a social enterprise in 2018. CommUnity Construction’s mission of “building homes, building lives,” has seen 65+ successful refugee trainees, 130+ projects, and two trainees who have since founded their own companies.
